Secretive Wrecked DC-3 Plane on Sólheimasandur   Leave Highway 1, We drive on the unpaved gravel roads for quite a while. Looking ahead, surrounded by a barren, occasionally encounter a passing oncoming car, telling us we are on the right way.  We drive for few kilometers alone, then we arrive the secretive crash site. It is the 1973 US Navy Douglas Super DC-3 Wreckage. It made an emergency landing because of bad weather in Iceland. Fortunately no casualties. Conquer Vatnajökull with Cramponsand The first time we were on glaciers, rope up, using cramponsand ice axes. Vatnajokull is the largest glacier of  Iceland, even of Europe. It covered  8% of Iceland's land area. Now that we have arrived the foot of the glacier, we must put on crampons and walk through the glacier to different ultimate shocking beauty. The day's destination is Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Before that, there are still many places worth a visit.  Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon is one of that place.  Canyon Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, 100 meters deep, about 2 km long, a huge crack in the mountains. There seems to be roads that people able to go to the bottom of the canyon. Internet have pictures that took the bottom of the canyon.
